In the main event of WrestleDream, Christian Cage challenged Darby Allin for the TNT Title in a vicious match that saw the former WWE Superstar brutalize his opponent and Nick Wayne turn villain. Christian was eventually able to keep his title and is still the face of TNT.

Following the match, the Champion assaulted Allin with the help of Nick Wayne, Luchasaurus, and his new disciple. Sting came to his partner’s aid, but he was no match for the bunch and was quickly defeated. The lights went out just as Christian was about to throw Sting a Conchairto, and Adam Copeland entered the arena to a standing ovation from the crowd.
